The JHS Boys scored 4 goals in the first half: Max Gentile scored the first goal off a Penalty Kick when Wyatt Tucky was fouled in the PK Box. Eliot Bowen was fouled just outside of the PK Box and then he took the free kick chipping the "wall" and the goal keeper to score the boys second goal. Symeon Clark (a home schooled player) scored from outside the PK Box left side beating the keeper to side netting towards the far post -"A beauty of a shot! North Pocono JHS Boys scored a 4th goal when Zak Evans scored an "Olympic Goal" off a corner kick to end the second half with North Pocono up 4 goals to zero.

In the second half, D.D. scored 2 goals by beating our defense. North Pocono's 3 goals in the second half were scored by: Nick Martin off Max Gentile's free kick; Eliot Bowen again scored unassisted.  Mason Stevens who has had a hot foot lately, scored North Pocono's last goal assisted by Justin Fontanella who had a VERY VERY TIDY defensive game at the sweeper position. Way to go captain Justin Fontanella!

In the B Game; NP scored 2 goals to beat D.D. who scored 1 goal.

The NP Boys erupted into "Jubilation" when David Hubler who has been close to scoring numerous times this year but has come up empty handed, scored after he was fouled in the PK Box. David stepped up to take the PK shot after everyone on the bench was yelling his name to take the kick. He stepped up to take the free kick and placed it "PURRRRRFECTLY BATMAN" (as the Catwoman would say) into the upper 90 to the right of the goalkeeper. The bench jumped up hooping and hollering in support of Mr. Hubler's achievement.
